DO THE ROT THING

Directions: Using the knowledge learned from the previous activity, students will now create their compost lasagna in small containers. They will layer the materials exactly as discussed—repeating until full. Students should label each layer and follow proper hygiene and safety practices, such as wearing gloves and keeping the area clean.

Task:    Create a layered compost

  Repeat layers until container is filled.

Presentation: Students label each layer and explain its purpose.

*Please create a collage of the composting activity and comment it here together with the names of your group members.

Directions: Inspect the garden for any existing pests. Any indicators of pests

must be recorded, logged, and dealt with as soon as possible.

*Please take a picture of your PEST LOG SHEET and comment it in this post. You may also create a collage of the pests you have found and comment it as wel.
