Directions: Using the knowledge learned from the previous activity, students will now create their compost lasagna in small containers. They will layer the materials exactly as discussed—repeating until full. Students should label each layer and follow proper hygiene and safety practices, such as wearing gloves and keeping the area clean.
Task: Create a layered compost
Repeat layers until container is filled.
Presentation: Students label each layer and explain its purpose.
